Our history with adult sex toys isn’t as distinguished as it sounds when you hear the words, “we’re toy reviewers.” If you have images of all night orgies or brothel caliber experiences, you might want to rethink your notions. Both couples started out with one basic toy, some light experimentation, and an open mind.
The next step was the accumulation of a few more toys, each with different purposes. One day, in the search for a new toy, Temptress stumbled across an ad for a sight we hadn’t visited; TooTimid . It was clean, friendly, and they advertised discretion. We registered for their affiliate program and placed the banner on our site with the erotic writings. During this process, we were introduced to their practice of using field reviewers to rate products.
Our quad discussed the pros (free toys) and cons (obligated writing with a deadline) and decided to apply as reviewers. Although we’d like to think it is purely our profession writing style that won us the position, we rather think it was our unique family configuration that threw us to the top of the pile of accepted reviewers; a sort of “four for the price of one” thing.
In the beginning, we felt like our reviews “belonged” to TooTimid, but we now have permission to cross post them on our blog. While Temptress and The Laundry Goddess are responsible for writing and posting the results, both men are happy to help us with the reviews, as needed. Over the last months, we’ve reviewed nearly 50 toys, accessories, and DVDs. This experience doesn’t make us pros, just normal people who are willing to give a fair chance to some items that just might interest you.
